Agreed. I am hoping to do some bench testing of some other OEM A2W intercoolers that would fit in this space. More than likely I can figure out a kit that should solve IATs for those at stock or OEM+ power levels for much cheaper than say a whole intake manifold.

I dont believe any Z4 owners have purchased my brace, albeit im fairly certain you wont have any issues. I wont say for certain however unless yourself or someone else can get me better pictures and preferably measurements.

Oh yeah I just meant maybe move the mounts a cm outward or so. Doesn't have to be much cause you're already pretty dang close to making it work. Worst case scenario, people can always shave the tips of the ducktail

Hi there, if its something you really want, I could design and fabricated a brace to replace the factory one. Id have to sit on it and I have a group buy going on for something else so it may not be a big priority. So if you're willing to wait for one let me know 👍

Seems like a good idea regarding the shear strength! Something to maybe consider is how close inward the mount is to the OEM ducktail. Some people may want to run both a ducktail and the wing, could be a turn off if they're incompatible. Otherwise, good progress!
