For my first set, I figured Iād burn through them pretty quickly. I went from PSS to PS4S on my last car and liked the 4S a lot more in the rain. Maybe Iām subconsciously in a hurry to buy new ones. A couple burnouts and a lot of tail happy corner exits.
Letās seeā¦Iāve owned her since December, so I suppose Iāve got a few things:
I came from an 86, and it took me a bit to be come accustomed to the weight in corners. In my ideal world, the car would weigh 200 pounds less. I realize this would potentially raise the price significantly, however...
Got the update done this week. It was drama free and I love FS Apple CarPlay.
I will say, experiencing ASD again was funny. I forgot that would get turned back onā¦.
I also asked them to check my rear diff, which had a bit of fluid on it a while back when I had my bigger anti roll bars...
Wow, that Tomei is insane but prolly too much for me to live with daily.
From this video, Iād say youāve struck a nice balance between cost and maximizing the sound quality.
The stock catback sounds pretty good, just needs a little more volume and ability to express the glory of the B58.
A...
Iām still bitter about not getting my plastic ownerās guide holders, too. Even though I donāt have them in the car. You know, āadds lightnessā or something something.
Strangely, I donāt think my dealer equipped mine with them either. I was so in awe of the car + the fact the day before it showed up they had called to say it wouldnāt come in for 2 more monthsā¦I forgot to add āem.
Iām amazed at the restraint some of you can show. 30MPGā¦Iām either doing something very wrong or very right. Iāve never really checked but I bet my norm is 12-16MPG.
Hey there,
Iām positive that there must be a setting Iāve overlooked, but wanted to ask:
Am I the only one who notices that XM and standard radio are way, way louder than Apple CarPlay?
My previous car (86) didnāt have CarPlay, but when I streamed anything via Bluetooth I could pretty much...
Such a bunch of subjective questions, but:
How much louder than stock would you say it is (I know you also have the AA catted DP)?
Any ādroneā?
Whatās it like on the freeway in comfort mode?
Thanks!
I feel this occasionally as well. It became a bit more pronounced after I installed the rear Cusco power brace (man is that stock ābraceā a joke). Itās pretty infrequent and, as said above, solved by driving faster. It seems like a perfect storm resonance kinda thing, as I feel it in the same...
Generally speaking, intake mods are safe to run without a retune.
That said, I donāt believe the stock turbo is bottlenecked by the stock intake. Your improvements are likely going to be limited to more turbo noises and perhaps somewhat crisper throttle response.
