there was an actual plan for the 4cyl manual for EU, so it wouldn't be real shocking if it came to light. my comments about a manual have been in reference to the I6 specifically as that's the car I have the most experience with, only one I'd own, and the only one I've asked many questions...

BMW is a huge part of the equation. They don't care about the manual and will only consider it if Toyota bankrolls all of it. The whole thing is complicated, so I can only laugh when people act like it's throwing a switch lol.
