it is illegal to not have them or to obstruct them. that said, I've done it more times than I can count lol
I would be shocked to find anyone that has ever been pulled over for it, but I can definitely see failing a state inspection.
Either way, the next version should be a ways out if traditional schedule holds true. That's not to say Toyota's schedule per se, but I would be surprised to see anything other than minor changes before 2022MY.
haha, I think that was likely a case of just not being applied at the factory? I have one the badges at my desk, and the adhesive looks to be the same used on most of our other badges (hard to tell without checking).
lol, he would likely deny ever having said it. Also, being Ichitaka is Japanese iirc, he would likely not ask or bring something of that nature up as it would be very rude and put Tada on the spot (especially an Akio/GR comment).
The GR thing is Akio's brainchild, and despite the fact that he is awesome is a silly thing over all. Tada once made a joke that I probably should not post here that he was going to find the cheapest adhesive he could find for the GR badge and that hopefully the wind would blow the badge off the...
Did you happen to get his name? I know that's not even close to the first thing that crosses one's mind, but you'd be surprised who you can end up randomly meeting.
I hung out with a guy that built a vast majority of the 90's TRD race engines and didn't even know it until months later. I was...
I'd recommend calling corporate customer care so that you can hopefully get a more expedient answer (many times they route you back to the dealer unfortunately, but either way at least they would be working on it).
It's convoluted and has changed a few times, but the most correct response is Gazoo Racing Supra or just GR Supra.
Gazoo Racing is actually Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) in long form, so they're just dropping that part for (marketing) simplicity sake. It was referred to as GR Supra by Toyota for a...
I mean, you're not gonna pressure a guy like him into anything. If he doesn't want something or feels it's nonsensical then it won't happen.
But my comment and the other were due to that analogy of yours, which was interesting...
Haha, I was kidding anyways. It's just tiring trying to keep up with Tada's comments behind closed doors vs those in the public sphere.
But I'm hardly ever around him, so maybe he's actually open to changing his mind now vs just playing the PR game.
At this point, I'll wait for actions.
