Tip #5
Wedge a soft handle screwdriver in the front rotor to keep it from spinning while you are torquing everything. Another option is have someone sit in the car and hold the brake down. You will need to put it in the top and bottom when installing the double nuts and removing them.
Tip #4
Grab a couple of washers from Home Depot/Lowes and put them in the middle to create a friction plate. This helps tremendously with install and removal of the double nuts.
When putting on the first nut be sure to leave some room and not go all the way down to the bottom of the threads...
Tip #3
When installing the stud, do not place the nuts nose to nose. They can shear the tips onto each other and then get locked on the stud. When you go to remove the double nuts, you will keep removing the bolt as well.
Tip #2
Use some blue threadlocker when installing the stud into the wheel hub. This will help lock and secure the stud and prevent vibrations from turning the bolt. Red thread locker requires heating of the bolt to remove if you need to change a bolt.
Tip #1:
Clean the bolts with a 14x1.25 die. There are some paint patches that are really thick and this makes the threads buttery smooth. You can pick one up on amazon for $9...

They couldn't figure out what was the root cause that made it go out. They think it just shorted and crapped out and had to be replaced. It's actually only been about 3 weeks now since it was fixed 100%. It was a long process getting it taken care of.
They had to replace the front camera located in the middle of the front windshield. After it was replaced they have to do a calibration to it. I had to go back three times for them to get it calibrated and adjusted properly for it to work. They had to get Toyota on the line and do walk-thru's...
Bwahahaha! Give it a try as it resets back to default settings once you turn the cruise control off or turn the car off. So you can disable/enable the radar anytime you want.
Love tailgating? Riding bumpers? Tired of Cruise Control constantly speeding you up and slowing you down? Tired of your speed dropping when the car in front of you is 1000 yards away?
This isn't stated in the manual, so I thought I would share as I hate the car telling me what to do when...
