Because it is too easy to accidentally drive in that position and mistake the front drl for headlights. They don't light up the road and also dazzle oncoming traffic. I kinda wish it was allowed but also see the above scenario a lot, so probably for the best.

Parking lights are for parking, not driving. If you turn them on in gear, the car will remind you of this.

Yes they fit on 2.0, very fast delivery! I must say I did not test the 130 MPH claim on the roads ? but at least up to ~75 they work very well. In 15 mph cross winds, too.

I tried eco mode on my i3 for the first time (did not need coding). I didn't think it would make much difference because there is no engine or trans to tune. -> It change the pedal mapping so it is easier to drive smooth. Nice for passengers. ->Allows some more +/- on the cabin temperature...
