Are the SPL parts controversial because of that one video with the moron who had the LCAs installed incorrectly and was putting their competitors parts on the car because the shop got them at a discount? I can't remember the brand... it's the Polish (?) company that does the tubular subframes...

Yeah, it's for sure picky. Not encountered an app to interface with the car that's quite as specific as it's requirements are for when it will and won't work. I haven't had a failed flash yet, though. But it's been a minute since I've tried. That doesn't sound fun.

Duh. Crank case return line. Had it. Never installed it because it wasn't catching anything.

Why?

In my case, the chassis code came from putting the car into service mode to bleed the brakes, then when taking the car out, not having the electronics to calibrate the DSC. Didn't have anything to do with the SPL component install. Have an appointment at the dealership on Tuesday to have it done.

I'm curious to know how much it catches!
