Am still searching for details on the weight figure..... as it could get quite confusing.
Some include the driver weight, another standard weighs only the car but 90% of fuel , another one is dry weight....etc
"DIN" curbweight Is the most representative.
But I have to say that 1395kg/3075lbs...
He even implied that; with the "worst kept secret" part.
I felt the whole thing was to emphasize the fact that GazooRacing developed the car. To shut up all the brand wh***s moaning about the bmw thing. Now i see why they are calling it "GR" supra and not just supra.
And that silver one intro...
Wow like finally! I was driving back from work had to stop in the highway to watch it lol.
Akio looked super pumped in the announcement we need more "lit" CEOs like him LOL!
correct me if am wrong, but what i understood from A70/Tada-san interviews is that:
1- 2012 BMW invited Tada san to meet
2- ..things rolled for ~2 years with BMW+Toyota working together
3- ..then for like ~4 years after that both teams worked independently,
4- ..in joint testing the Supra...
I have a feeling this is intentional...see how phone makers "leak" stuff...that way they catch headlines for a longer period (sticking to consumer attention as long as possible). Leaks and gossip are attention magnets
Or ..... a lot of people will just get fired xD
Heck RR even puts the red...
Wait...is that a handle?
Always thought that was a driver knee brace/pad. In autoX or drifting I always had to push my knee towards the interior plastics around that location.
harness later on fixed that, but don't think this car comes stock with a 6 point harness lol
370z? Love those, drifted one just last week at a local event.
But ....That has 100lbft LESS torque, like half the rigidty, higher COG, worse weight distribution, narrower tracks front and rear, heavier unsprung weight, VLSD vs an eDiff.......and the list goes on of superior and hard...
Since all the questions I had were already asked( MT?!! )....Will they be making a documentary about the bmw co-design process? Like the whole thing from A-Z. I watched the R35 natGeo documentary like 1000 times already lol
