718 Caymans are more exciting when pushing mechanical limits, so street driving feels mostly very sedate. On the street the F82 M2 comp is better suited.
Perhaps driving on track suits the personality of the M2 better? Obviously it laid down crushing times on the Nurburgring and was tuned to do so consistently.

Hi OP, congrats on ur new Supra! Try the following during an HPDE or empty lot and see if these help:
-Corner entry neutral on throttle. Mid-corner shifts have been known to upset the rear, especially on earlier model years.
-Smooth inputs into corner, gradually roll onto throttle past apex...
Memories of the prior gen Supra languishing on dealer lots may still be fresh on the minds of Toyota executives. I think they're much more inclined to keep orders right where they need to be so that doesn't happen again. Remember this is the company which pumps out a new Camry every few minutes.
