  3. 2023 A90 Supra manual vs 718 Cayman vs 981 GT4 3.8

Dat Miata in #1 tho!! 718 Caymans are more exciting when pushing mechanical limits, so street driving feels mostly very sedate. On the street the F82 M2 comp is better suited.

Yup this is the recipe for the BMW i4 and i5. Getting their customers ready for New Neue Klass.
  5. Got M2... May have regrets

Perhaps driving on track suits the personality of the M2 better? Obviously it laid down crushing times on the Nurburgring and was tuned to do so consistently.
  6. Throttle hesitation

?!!! IMPORTANT PSA!!! ? Toyota HQ just sent out a reliability survey today to registered Toyota owners, one of the questions asks about power train issues with "Hesitation" as an option and fields to explain in more detail. They must have some awareness of this and looking for direct feedback...
  7. Got M2... May have regrets

Hi OP, thanks for sharing your impressions. Especially since for most on this forum, I think, we feel positively enough about the joint collaboration with BMW to buy J29. So naturally gravitate to G87 M2, 1M, OG M2s, etc. Just curious where or when do u feel the weight, the most? Auto or...
  8. How to get Toyota to update car for throttle hesitation issue?

Toyota has never acknowledged the throttle hesitation, I understand that BMW has already solved it for the Z4. However, it's manageable if you understand how to modulate throttle inputs at low speeds. Key thing is to not panic when throttle hesitates, ur impulse will be mash the throttle...

  15. Lotus Emira

  16. Dang near killed myself!

Hi OP, congrats on ur new Supra! Try the following during an HPDE or empty lot and see if these help: -Corner entry neutral on throttle. Mid-corner shifts have been known to upset the rear, especially on earlier model years. -Smooth inputs into corner, gradually roll onto throttle past apex...
  17. Toyota Supra and BMW Z4 Sales Figures

Memories of the prior gen Supra languishing on dealer lots may still be fresh on the minds of Toyota executives. I think they're much more inclined to keep orders right where they need to be so that doesn't happen again. Remember this is the company which pumps out a new Camry every few minutes.
  18. How many miles have you driven the SUPRA and are you satisfied?

@20,000 miles. I keep trying to think what could replace this. The answer is, nothing can. Highly satisfied.
  19. M2 vs Camaro vs Supra

I remember watching the Top Gear episode where Chris poured criticism on the A90 while Paddy rode shotgun. I've never forgotten that. However, having driven the M240i, I agree with Chris it actually is a pretty fantastic car even being "M-performance". Of course, can't hold a candle to how...
