The girlfriend or wife is always right, and can do whatever she pleases. That also means eating in the car, feet on the dash, etc. If she's happy, why not?
We are probably better off just enjoying the current Mark V for what it is. The GRMN variant, even if it comes to North America, has a specific buyer that probably wouldn't be on owners/enthusiast forums like this. Collectors will collect, and the journos will write and film it. In all...
Most likely a gently used Porsche Boxster S, would like to try rear mid engine and going topless. Ideally could do a lightly optioned factory order in a brash color.
Big congrats to Nathan Bunn from Kaizen Autosports for wiping the field in LL2 with a 2:58.3 time at VIR! Goes to the show the platform punches way above its weight with times even faster than LL3 with 718 GT4s and C8 corvettes in class above in LL3. Nathan being a pro racing instructor doesn't...
If liking the practical nature of an M3 (4 doors, 4 seats) and power of Supra, have u considered an M340i? Would be cheaper and less weight than an M3, and same power train what u r used to.
Platinum package is most likely an add-on at the port, could be Toyoguard platinum or something similar. Would definitely recommend asking if you can get that removed. It appears there is a dealer markup on this one, usually an AT 3.0 premium would retail around 57k or so.
Hi OP, another user on this forum shared this link which has a running list of updated allocations - so u know who is actually getting product. Not to dissuade u from doing a factory order, but could get what u want with less wait time and hassle.

Edmunds and Caredge provide free depreciation forecasts for most popular models. KBB can also give an idea of resale value and helpful to ballpark cost to own each year.
Hi OP, out of curiosity - what have you seen lately in the Porsche 911 market? Interested in your take on attainable MY 2018 and 2019 911 Carreras (base, S, 4s, GTS). For the discerning Supra owner...not wanting to trade lol.
Thanks OP, really well-written and honest ownership experience for the car community. When I think about what cars I want to stretch for next, I struggle to find an answer more compelling than the Supra. There's no shortage of things that will rapidly empty the bank account - but what will...
Salvaged cars are ideal as dedicated track cars, IMO, because the option to recoup value from a second buyer is mostly off the table, and not relying on it as daily driver, etc. Outside of that scenario, it's hard to recommend...I think the ownership experience could go sideways fast.
All model years and trims of both 3.0 and 2.0 seem to be holding their values quite well. The platform has shown to more reliable than expected, too - no doubt due to Toyota's decision to go with older (and better sorted) interface, electrical systems, etc.
Second buyer probably won't enjoy...
I love how Toyota has been on an enthusiast kick as of late. I'm less a fan of how they are all low volume, but be that as it may- would definitely want to see this go into production, ideally at starting base price close to the GR Corolla.
