My unsolicited advice: Keep it. Carmax always gives an "online offer" that is too good to be true, then when you bring it in they nickel-and-dime you to what their actual reserve price is. You may still come away on top, but probably not by $3K (maybe around $1K, or less). Financing is also...
Hello OP. Allow me to put you at ease regarding fake vents for a halo car. Behold the Audi R8. It has fake vents. And it's fantastic, looks great, the V10 kicks you in the back, and would daily it.
Lots will depend on the new CEO, Sato-san on what happens to the GR line. He was in charge of the GR division at the time of his appointment as CEO. If I had to guess, Toyota's priority will be on expanding the "GR" line to the rest of the product family- GR Sport, GR Performance, etc. more...
Hi OP. If you've enjoyed your ownership experience with the Supra and looking for something different, I support trading out for something else. Dealer down the street has an M2 fully loaded coming in soon, whoever takes delivery of that will be a lucky ?! Interestingly they also have a M4 CSL...
My crystal ?. GRMN Supra will be sold somewhere, but effectively unobtanium for us common folk. So EV Supra will be more relevant. By 2030, Mazda will churn out enough premium-ish SUVs to chip away at the entry level luxury market and keep killing it on design and quality. Then joint...
Yes, would certainly entertain a BMW. Leaning back towards Mazda for next car, now they have an inline 6. Just waiting for Mazda to sell enough crossovers to justify an RX-9.
For sure. Best to go early Spring or before roads close for winter (ice/snow closures). Lots of wide sweepers just needs to share the road with bikers so take blind corners easy.
Assuming ur referring to Geico. They would want to approve the repair job first, and they may even request a claims examiner do their own inspection. Would strongly recommend holding onto that coverage.
Really enjoyed this video. I always learn something new watching DK, Nobu, and Max driving the GR Supra. Notice that both Nobu and Max have very smooth steering inputs whereas DK appears to be sawing more at the wheel.
Would highly recommend Greenville. It's like sports car heaven around here. Huge BMW car club of America presence, M driving school, and Road Atlanta only 1.5 hours away. Shoot an hour north and Blue Ridge Parkway, lots of cool mountain roads.
The daily: got a Mazda 3 4-door since it was the car that many of the editors at Edmunds (back in 2011) were actually driving. Car drives brilliantly and the electro-hydraulic steering rack still blows my mind and handles like a dream. In hindsight I would have liked a MazdaSpeed3 even more...
Shopping cars, especially rarely allocated ones is a terrible time to be a customer. That being said, one option to consider is getting an auto now, and trade-in later for a used MT. Shouldn't depreciate too much in a year, so would still get a decent residual. You'd also have the added bonus...
Congrats OP and welcome to the community! Ur gonna love it.
Did my first oil change at 5000. Was covered under Toyotacare so why not. Tried to follow break in period and held off using launch control, but did rev pretty hard couple times.
Whichever Toyota dealership is closest to you is...
Haha, yea - it's priced well against the competition but I sure as hell still couldn't afford one. But hey- I've got my dream car so I ain't complaining!
Glad to see the GR Supra doing well at the Lightning Lap this year! And as expected the Z06 wipes the floor with everyone else, what a machine. GM should be proud, now Corvette is not just better value for the money than Porsche/Ferrari, it's legit supercar territory too.
