Personally, I hope the car is successful. If it succeeds then there is a higher possibility that we can continue to get fun cars from any manufacturer.
I’m not excited that it sits on an old platform but if it’s a good car then it’s a good car. Very much like our Supra that everyone puts on...
I got mine aligned today. I noticed the improvement right away, pulling into traffic, accelerating hard produced a lot less drama and more go.
Best $108 I’ve spent on the car yet.
I didn’t see it in your original post but did you have the car aligned after the suspension and wheels? I’m on stock suspension with slightly lighter VS Forged wheels and am OTS stage 1 93 octane tuned. My car was stepping to the left pretty consistently, then I got the car aligned today and it...
Yep, that’s the way to go right now if you really want to tune. I get your disappointment, but stock the car is pretty fun and is traction limited not power limited.
Try your best to enjoy it, or if you can get the right money out of it, sell it and get what makes you happy.
I had a 2019 C63 and the Supra is more compliant in sport mode than that car was in comfort. The shorter wheelbase makes the Supra much more reactive than my C63 was but the overall comfort level is higher than the Mercedes.
I voted for 1-3 years. I like the car but do get bored with them after about three years. I’m not sure what’s next but I’m being tempted to pick up something with a V8 while I still can.
Even Chris Harris had to admit it’s a good car. All of his blathering was because it felt like a BMW not that it was a bad car.
Just goes to show what people will do just to get attention. It was popular to hate on the Supra, so everybody just jumped on that bandwagon.
No regrets at all. Plus the color I have was discontinued, so if I had waited on the sidelines for something better (which always comes) then I wouldn't have the color I wanted.
Mine is DownShift Blue.
One of our brothers needs a hand. He posted this video, which I think took a lot of courage (and was very smart):
Let’s give him some support by checking out his channel and maybe someone can help him with some connections too.
Good luck @CarGuy11 !
They worked on the ECUs in the B9 S4/S5 for over 2 years before they were cracked. The B9 dropped in 2017 and the ECU wasn’t cracked until late 2019.
I have a 2019 S5 Sportback in the family and had a 2014 S4, so I have some familiarity with Audis.
Having said that I don’t know if the...
