If you decide to throw more money at the sound system, I would suggest a measured (literally) approach. I think you need to either do it yourself or get a good shop to measure the frequency response inside the vehicle and approach the problem with data. Just throwing speakers at it may or may...
Hey Pav,
I know and love the song you’re talking about and IMHO it is un-listenable on this system. It can’t touch that low bass line and when you try to compensate with the EQ it just distorts.
The fixes in this thread help a lot but there is still room for improvement in this system
A91 is being used by many as the name of all of the 2021. Yes OpenFlash said there wasn’t a need to unlock but that was then, this is now and clearly things have changed. Asking for more info is reasonable instead of assuming.
Thanks moe!
This thread's been a little quiet. There's been some news the 2021 models have updated security measures on the ECU that will prevent it from being tuned.
Do you guys have any info on this? Still working on a tune for the 2020 models?
As I type this I remembered you guys are in CA, I hope all...
Seems like an unusual move to change the security measures in the second model year. They mean business on no tuning, I wonder how long it will take to crack the encryption?
We should all remember that this is a concept, close to production, yes but still a concept. There’s a good chance many of the details will change.
They’re taking a chance on the manual, I hope it’s a good manual and like you I hope people buy it.
Enthusiasts are a weird bunch, only time will...
Agreed, a pretty display does not mean it’s functional. I would hope since they gave it a manual, they will keep the interface logical. There were hard buttons (dials) for climate control.
I don’t hate it. The profile is spot on...looks good and good proportions. I like the combination of the 370 roofline and the 240 profile. The front and rear don’t do much for me.
The interior puts our cars to shame, at least in concept format. The interior is the biggest let down of the Supra...

Because the stock wheel size is almost perfect for my needs, I only want a small shift in the offset. The idea here is that when working with a made to order wheel, a small change in offset shouldn’t be that hard.
I may be in the minority here but I’m having a heckuva a time finding after market wheels the same width and diameter as stock with slightly more aggressive offsets.
I had tried working with BC Forged and every time I give them a spec, they counter with a much wider and more aggressive setup...
Very nice. 93 numbers should be nice and hopefully there will be some decent numbers for us 2020 guys, of course not expecting the same as the 2021 cars.
