You are altering the Federal OEM emissions with that pipe. You will make it easy for a dealer or Toyota to make a case to deny some warranty issues that may be related. You may or may not have an issue but be ready to pay if you do.
From Titian's own website. Their disclaimer to cover...
Hard to see in that pic? You might be able to get away with just painting the door trim? Good PDR guy might be able to repair the metal. Have one look at it. If not, it's going to be paint and body work. They will most likely need to blend into the panels next to the door. See what I mean about...
Give it a chance until you see it in person. I thought the same about the simple rectangular grill until I saw it in person. It does look better in person. The grill has a pattern or texture and that makes it more interesting.
I saw the new Z at the Chicago Auto show. What I noticed.
Overall I like the new Z's style. The Z's front grill looks a lot better in person. The grill has a pattern or texture that helps distract from the simple rectangular shape of the grill. The interior looked a lot nicer than my old 370Z...
Definitely Have Toyota open a claim so there is a paper trail. Getting the opinions of high end body shops is a very good idea. Ultimately you want Toyota behind anything done so you have recourse if needed. Good luck with this.
Are you the original owner? The last thing you want is for Toyota to blame you or the PPF company for the damage. I would definitely have Toyota look at it. They will want to repair and repaint. Honestly I am surprised the PPF company is willing to work on that. There is substantial risk more...
I am in that boat. Original plan was to buy a 2021. I want to buy a Supra but decided to wait and see what becomes of the oil consumption. I want to see what Toyota/BMW has to say. I want to know if it's really an issue. I would like to know how widespread it really is. What are the production...
I used to do them too but I am VERY skeptical about oil test now. I would trust them for contamination or viscosity but am doubtful for particulates? There was a great article in the Porsche Club magazine about a guy who's 911 developed engine oil consumption issues. The guy sent in oil for...
Was the Supra love at first sight or did you have to warm up to it?
The Supra was not love at first sight for me. I actually did not care for the design initially when I first saw it at the auto show. I thought it was too "boy Racer" or something? I am glad Toyota took the risk with such a bold...
The new Z definitely sounds like it will be very good value judging by horsepower. Unfortunately power is just part of the equation. A equally important part of the equation is chassis tuning, steering feel, brake feel, overall chassis dynamics.
Like you I am slightly less enthused with Nissan...
The Cayman and 911 are probably even in downtown Chicago. It's not uncommon to see multiple P-Cars daily. The Supra is a lot more rare than both the Cayman and 911. I have only seen a Supra twice in the wild since they were released.
I have had partial PPF done to all of my cars since about 2004. I was just curious about what it would cost do do an entire car with a huge hood like the Supra? I have herd of the place you provided the link to. Much appreciated!
