The fact that he took it back to the tuner and they 'found some problems', means that it wasn't properly tuned in the first place (they supposedly fixed their own problems). If it were my car, I'd have another tuner take a look at the tune. Maybe they took too much torque management out? I had a...
I looked at all the colors in person, except blue, for I couldn't find one. It came down to silver, gray, or black for me. In the end, I was drawn towards Turbulence Gray...subtle and as someone else mentioned, sophisticated...kind of a secret agent vibe. Also, I like to fly low and avoid the...

Good commentary at the bottom of the article, lol.
Could still be some air in the system...found this online:
coolant replacement on b58 and overheating and burping the system - Google Search
Did you use this process?
Basically, you want to monitor various parameters so that you aren't outside of your targeted range for performance. For instance, you want your motor to have an optimum air to fuel ratio. In addition, some things to watch for are boost more than +/- 2PSI from target ( actual boost should be...
I ran into one of these yesterday and the guy kept wanting to race me at every stop sign, lol. I didn't oblige, for the outside temps were below freezing and I believe those things are AWD. At any rate, I checked it out online and on paper, they seem to be a tad quicker than the 3.0 0-60. What...
I have had the same noise from time to time...usually at startup. Mine is a ticking that is constant, in the dash, near the center display. It usually goes away after a few minutes and it doesn't happen all the time. I tried turning off the vents, but the noise persisted. It's almost like...
Nice rig! I traded in my '14 SS for the Supra and was surprised at how well it kept it's value. I had the Holden conversion and loved that car. For a heavy four door sedan, it handled almost as good as the Supra at the track...in some ways, better.
Have you noticed any drop in low end torque / throttle response? There are some BMW owners who have noticed that they have lost some power down low, but gained a little up top.
As Bflood stated, datalogging / tuning in an atmosphere that you will most likely be driving in is ideal. While ambient temperature does affect the performance, it's not that critical (unless it's primarily a track car), if your tuner knows what they are doing. If A/F and spark are dialed in...
Has anyone noticed their HUD display being dimmer, after the recall? I adjusted mine to the brightest setting and it still seems dim to me. I am also noticing that it automatically adjusts brightness, according to ambient light, which I didn't notice happening before the recall.
I'm experiencing the same cyclical vibrations at highway speeds. I figured it was the tires, for I experienced a similar phenomenon with my Holden and it ended up being the summer tires. When I switched over to all-seasons, the vibration went away. That car also had electronic steering. There's...
I inquired about the recall with a local dealer and they said that the motor needs to be cold and I have to drop off the car the night before, so they can take care of it first thing the next morning. Does that sound like the proper procedure? I don't think anyone has mentioned that requirement...
