I installed eibachs and have a very very small knock noise from time to time. Sounds like one of the top hat bolts may have come loose or something. I’ll be going over everything to find the noise it’s driving me crazy

I personally would skip JB4 all together and wait for MHD to find a way into the locked Ecu. You’ll get better results with a real flash. Ecutek is also working on a way to get around the lock.

There is no way to check without buying MHD. You can return the product if you are locked and choose not to tune rather than sending your DME off to be unlocked.

My advice would be to use a reputable tuner such as @Marin@GoodSpeed or Justin with @Twisted Tuning and rent a dyno if you don’t want to do street pulls. Letting someone with no or little experience with the platform tune it hasn’t worked well for others so far.
