2021 3.0 with 4,100 miles. Driven 95% of the time with the windows down and in sport manual mode. I wouldn't know if I had any rattles because I'm to busy enjoying the breeze and the sweet sweet sounds of my intake, turbo, and exhaust..... ?. That being said, I do drive in comfort mode...
If you're replying to my post about MHD, MHD has OTS flex fuel maps. You would just need to get the Fuel-it Flex fuel analyzer Bluetooth kit from Burger Motorsport and install this as well, then spend $4.99 on the Fuel It App and it gives you a live up-to-date readout of what your current...
While I don't have experience with either of these Tuners, I do have experience with MHD. It's an incredibly easy and seemless process with great OTS maps. (Their maps are a bit lower on power but safer for the engine/trans, when I say lower on power I mean just a little bit lower, not a lot)...
Thank you and thank you again for all the help. I've done roughly 5 fully suspension replacements in my lifetime and I've never ran into this issue before, or an issue that caused this much of a problem.
The bolt and nut I got from Ace Hardware aren't 100% what I would have wanted. They...
Update: Found a bolt replacement and nut at Ace Hardware and ended up getting the car finished. Holy hell the stress. So if anyone runs into the issue where simply jacking the control arm up onto the knuckle doesn't fully align the swivel Bushings with the control arm, get a heavy duty pry bar...
Thats exactly what I'm doing and this knuckle assembly pivot bushing just will not align perfectly. I can get 1 side in at a time but the other won't be aligned.
Yep that's what caused this issue. I got the bolt in one side and just couldn't get the other side aligned for the life of me because I couldn't see it.
Yea this is roughly what I was doing. I started the job late in the day and ran out of daylight. I feel like I just got frustrated in the dark and made mistakes. Thanks for the response man.
Where did you place the jack when you were jacking it up? Did you have to use any assist tool to get the bearings/Bushings to line up? Did you have to jack it up at all or was the jack just for support? Was the shock in the assembly and bolted down?
Man I'm so fking stressed over this. I've...
Started this installation today. Got the fronts done easy. Ran into a massive issue in the rear where I couldn't get the Knuckle Bushings that pivot to line up properly, got the E20 torx bolt in a bind and stripped it to hell backing it back out. Going to go to tractor supply and Lowes tomorrow...
So I'm recently custom tuned on an E40-E50 mix and my car can no longer get any form of traction in 1st through 3rd on the factory rear tires, so I bought a set of Nitto 555r2's in 285/35/19s for the rear, stock wheels. I wanted to get everyone's opinions on keeping the stock 255/35/19s on the...
Yea true, I completely forgot about the increased flow actually being able to make more power even in stock form. The shop that dynoed my Supra before the tune did notice about a 20ish horsepower and torque gain from just the downpipe change. I also didn't think about the fact that they could be...
Hmmm.... so if I'm going to be taking corners hard I should upgrade my front tires to 265/35/19s. Well, I don't plan on road course tracking my car but I do like to drive a bit spiritedly on twisty back roads, but I make sure not to push the car further than it can handle.
Ohh snap I didn't even notice you also changed the badge at the same time as the vent install. Ohh well, I noticed it now, but that's very easy to fix so who cares lol!
