I did MKIV on mine, I think it looks so much better. The font itself looks nicer and the gunmetal is a better color than the black/chrome theme of the MKV. It doesn't stick up quite as far, but looks natural in person. In pictures it doesn't capture as much:
I noticed a little loss, less initial bite so it feels less like a BMW and more like any other car. Braking is more linear and you have to push a little harder to get it to stop as quickly IMO
I agree, there is less initial bite and the brakes do not work quite as well, although they are still more than adequate. I don't track my car and don't drive crazy fast so I don't need the best brakes in the world. I do wish it could brake as good as the stock pads, but the tradeoff is worth...
I agree with those above. You may sell high, but you'll buy high too when you go to replace it unless you get really lucky with some deal, so probably going to be a wash. The only people profiting are those selling their cars and riding their bicycles lol
I like the AWE...but I still think these $75 ones from twisted tuning are the best. Looks OEM flush in shape and gloss black to match the mirrors. The amazon fix is kind of ghetto and looks out of place and the $200 carbon fiber ones are insane, too much money and a weird place to flex and...
So what’s the weight on dry carbon version? Idk kinda seems like a gimmick and it’s not improving the car in any way, but to each their own. Looks like waste of money
agreed, not worth it to me to tear apart a brand new car and hope it all lines up perfectly when I put it back together for the horn I use twice a year lol
