Hmmm, well, if you are looking for top speed runs with nobody else around for miles...choose any road in my state (North Dakota)...you can literally drive for 6+ hours without a single turn. ;( Head south near Mt Rushmore/Sturgis area and there are lots of fun roads.

If you flip the mirror switch to the passenger side (I believe-I guess, wherever you have it now, just flip it as if you want to adjust the other mirror) and the passenger mirror will not lower to the curb. It’s a handy trick.

Thanks, I am guessing you tested the various wires and non of them were set up for auxiliary power? I am debating whether to give my installer the hardwire kit for my Uniden R7 or the mirrortap wiring kit....prolly give him both and hope he can get something working.

What is the secret to getting the plastic cover off to access the wires by the mirror? Rumor has it you need to tap into the rain-sensing wipers to only have power when the vehicle is on... I don’t know where those wires are, but based on the BMW forums, it sounds like they are located with...

Update: Messed around with the Blendmount setup, which I ordered for the “speciality mirror,” as that is what the mirror setup on the Supra looks like.... However, turns out the diameter on the mount is to small to fit around the diameter of the mirror stalk. Returned to Blendmount, ordered...

Can you snap a pic of the area you are talking about for the subwoofer rattle? My subs rattle terribly, I plan ceramic coating the car and based on this thread, may try to resolve the rattle... Thanks in advance. Jake

Good point, my dealer told me at delivery to always lock the car as some systems continue to draw on the battery and if left for a few days my drain the battery. (Dealer had a list of about 5 items with bulletin points to tell me. Basically, was how to open the hood, how to properly close it...
