Agree. Stock lights are a really solid design, however as mentioned in this is thread, itās a real shame the US lights donāt have an independent turn signal function thatās separate from the brake/on function. Especially because of how many other car designs have been impacted all in the name of...
I know that city speeds arenāt fun, but I figured itās worth mentioning since thatās where the majority of our cars will spend most of their time. My civic si was so fun around town with the k20, so I get it.
The 86 engine does sound like a garbage disposal? but the car has a ton of character...
Barely at all, honestly. The gears are taller in the Supra as they should be but at city speeds, youāre short shifting either car.
Again, this is all subjective, but to me the 86 is a more engaging car. The driver inputs feel better to me. (Steering feel, pedal placement, seat position, NVH...
Youāre going to get a bunch of different opinions on this. Probably a different one from each person who responds.
Personally, I wouldnāt have gotten a Supra without a 6MT. Idk if I would say the manual is more engaging than the auto, but definitely a different type of engaging, and thatās the...
I keep telling myself that the only car that could get me out of the supra would be a C7 GS 7MT, but realistically, I just want to be back in a Scion FRS. ?āāļø
Like others have said, it is just a car, however I donāt want a full course meal going on over there either. I think itās fine to have some non messy snacks and some sealed drinks as well.
I once had a gf who spilled a monster in my tan, perforated leather seats. ?
Donāt feel bad. In early 2022, I was given pick of the litter for some upcoming ā23s in my region. My top choice was Turbulence Gray over red interior with a 6 speed and my backup pick was Absolute Zero over red interior with a 6speed.. Obviously I didnāt end up with either but itās all good. At...
All I can say on this, is the IMSA Supra GT4 uses (per an oil engineer with the team) 0w-40. If itās good enough for them, itās good enough for me.
Thank you! People look at me like I have 3 heads whenever I tell them the pedal box/brake feel of the 86 is much better than the Supra, at least for my preferences on track. Good info, thank you!
Very nice. Would you say the MCB increased the amount of pressure required to brake? Iām actually looking for a significantly stiffer brake pedal feel, if possible. I do not prefer the sensitive/touchy setup. For my feet, it makes it much more difficult to heel toe when not braking aggressively...
