Sounds like I’ll be going down a similar route to you. Let me know how you like whatever suspension you end up with. I’ll be tackling the brake pedal feel as soon as I get the new pads/fluids in.
Gotcha, thanks. I know the oem struts are decently optimized for track work, so I’m not in a rush to get rid of them, so I’m definitely considering going that route.
No it isn’t, let’s be real. The Supra, with all things being equal, is not faster than an m2. (With the exception of extremely skilled drivers on smaller road courses) The M2 performs a bit better all around, as it should, being a full fledged M car with all that M sauce. B58 does sound a bit...
Assuming this is gospel, you would think that the color offerings would get better over the years. At this point, it seems like 2020/21 got the best exterior color options. At least a nice grey returned to the general line up.
No mention of yellow or any other color being dropped/added. (Other than the white of course) Interested to see if they have no grey option for next year. Also interested to see if black will be the only interior option again.
This looks nice. Isn’t It funny how 10 years ago when drls had a yellow tint to them, people would swap them for aftermarket white ones, and nowadays we swap white drls for yellow!
You’re preaching to the choir lol. Not everyone shares the same sentiment, however. Plenty of people find fast shifting autos fun, I mean every car in imsa is a flappy paddle, minus the Miatas(I think) and any car on the grid would still be a blast to drive for even the purest of manual purists...
I wouldn’t say it’s seen as negative. It’s just that the manual is quite literally, objectively and technically inferior to the zf8. Source: manual owner.
AZ is a gorgeous white, but SB is a really pretty blue. Pick whatever color you like more; I doubt you would hate either. They both look nicer in person than they do in pictures.
In the comments, Jack mentioned there was a typo, and the Supra was actually a second slower than they posted. A 1:33.xxx instead of 1:32.xxx. Either way, it does seem quite fast around that track, and should be good news for 99% of us.
Seems like Mr. Goose likes the mkv a bit more with a stick. They all performed well, each with their own particular strengths.
One thing to note is that they didn’t seem to have any clutch issues at all, and I’m sure they had many sessions during filming. I do not believe that Mark would omit...
