Naaah, not for a awhile. Still need to solve the energy density issues of lithium-ion. Even those solid state batteries are a small uptick in Wh/kg. EV's have a long way to go. We just need to plant more trees

Mark... that video shows nothing of how insanely fast the zf8 shifts on a 60k car, to compete with (minimal mods) a 150-250k super car. You know... What gave the brand "supra" it's legendary status.
I'm a bit of a fanboy for the Borg's, but that's where i would invest my money into
.. I've got my eye on the 8474 black. Just trying to size it properly to achieve the impossible 1:1 pressure ratio at a steady flow state of 90lbs/min. I'll be at around at 3:1
Well, i still would want as close to equal length if possible just to avoid exhaust pulse interference, turbulence or reversion but might be better to focus on the collector design and gate placement.
Been going down this rabbit hole as well. Since that kit uses larger diameter runner, it probably flows better compared to the spool.
Is there a massive difference? ?‍♂️ Probably not. Assuming they go unequal length because its more complex to fab equal runners which drives up cost along...
DO NOT buy that spool manifold. Who ever designed it went full retar*. They went topmount log style. Topmount should give you the room to fab tubular equal length runners and just look at that shit design.
cant do a CFD analysis in my head but the backpressure and lag must be awful.
I guess i can buy with confidence, but I've got time and still in the middle of planning out the build.
Yea he was a really nice guy when i messaged him. His work on the b58 is very impressive.
This is basically the CES kit...
