Super agreed here. I had an epiphany the other day driving this car, I go WOT minimum at least once, or drive it extremely hard every time I drive it. The "Heavy foot" is definitely a thing. Now I just need NOS, the big one, actually make it 2.
On topic, I'm in the camp of it's better to change...
I don't want to be too off topic, but this isn't the first time I've read this. What was done to the alignment to help? A lil more camber? Toe adjustments? I'm doing a track day next weekend and probably more after, so would love to know.
For me it's really because of the price, especially back in 2012. I bought a 2013 BRZ. There wasn't many other options for a 2 seater sports car in that price range (other than a Miata.)
Also yeah if you had an S2000, you're already coming from one of the best driver's car ever created. Even...
Thanks for sharing, this is awesome. Been watching them for decades. I still remember waiting 2-3 hours to download a 2 minute clip of the Civic Type R vs Integra Type R videos with a 56K modem when I was a kid lol
Good stuff, what auto-x events are you going to?
Funny enough I'm actually going to Sonoma next weekend and was always contemplating on doing auto-X first instead of the full track day to learn this car. But couldn't pass up the free HPDE thing by NASA.
This is a forum for discussion, are we not just discussing? I only see folks calling into question some of the unbalanced bias. And “make your own video” I think we have more than enough people making Supra videos lol
A lot of this is mostly wasted energy anyway. Not expecting any of these...
I appreciate the thoughtful post and general opinion of your comment.
But I will disagree only in regards to having to cherish the new Z. I suppose our standards today are so low because we don't get that many 2 door sports cars anymore, but the new Z is a disappointment, at least in regards to...
Huh I'd actually like to see this too. Given how decently close the GR86 came to the Z despite having 150hp less, a Supra 2.0 should theoretically come closer.
Right, but it's a cheap fix that takes mere minutes to install. But somehow they have clung onto that like it steals your soul.
But needing to drop thousands on mods on the Z, it's a non-issue for him. :dunno:
The fact they went as far as changing out brake pads and fluid on the Z and not on the Supra is questionable. These aren't out of the box comparisons. Though I did also appreciate they at least used the same tires. But come on, you can see the BMW hate just pulsing through Mark's veins. And yet...
Haha that didn't take long. That's their last glimmer hope that the Nismo version is any better. Maybe it will, maybe it won't. But one thing's for sure, it'll be minimum $15K more than the current top end Z, so these buffoons thinking it's going to cost the same as a Supra are going to be...
