Totally agree.
The next idea I have for getting the numbers I want is taking advantage of the fact that dealerships really need used cars right now since production is low.
So for me I’m willing to take a new 2021 Premium 3.0 for ~50k (~55k OTD) and the lowest they willl go is 52k. Well...
Approaching 1 month of searching and its rough in SoCal. Lowest I could get so far is 53.8k (59k OTD).
Hoping that end of month and memorial day can loosen things up.
Has anyone heard of any Memorial Day weekend sales? I saw last year they offered 3,500 off or 0% APR for Memorial Day.
Not sure if they usually announce it at the beginning of May, or the weekend prior to the Holiday.
dangg not until august? I might have to pull the trigger on a 2021. Sadly SoCal dealers aren’t very flexible with me so far. Hopefully a deal can be landed on Memorial Day.
btw - any news on Memorial Day promotions?
I totally agree with you there. My decision is a bit more emotional. I just know myself and I’m gonna be so bummed out if it happens to me. Especially since this will be my first sports car purchase.
With all the 2021 oil issues im reading about, im hesitant to pull the trigger. Ill most likely wait for the 2022 and hopefully see some fixes. Unless I can find a deal I cant pass up on a used 2020 without the oil issues. Sadly all the used 2020 premiums in SoCal are 50-52k+.

I wonder if this oil issue is part of the reason for 2022 delays. Having to change and test new parts, along with possible supply chain issues on top.
Imagine if they just revert to the 2020 engine and tune it to the same power (or more) as the 2021 lol
