Lmao I’ve always debated the carbon fiber fenders but honestly never thought the random square of carbon looked good. Now that I look a little closer lol… I think I’m sold
For those interested, I think I’m going with carbon fiber fenders. The cost of an OEM painted fender is roughly $800 prior to shipping. I can get a decent set of CF fenders for $650.
I’ve searched a good bit on the forums and can’t find any part numbers or similar incidents. Any part number expert out there? It’s the part that the side skirts clip in to. See pictures for reference
If anyone has a part number for the piece that that the side skirts clip in to, I’d really appreciate it. that’s the only part I don’t have info for that I’ll need.
Thanks in advance!
Also to add: the side skirt looks to somehow be perfectly fine. It’s the trim that holds the side skirt that is bent to hell and cracked. Here is a better picture: any idea the part number for this?
Funny thing is… I have and used the puck. I felt underneath rather than laying eyes on the jack being properly centered on the puck and started jacking it up. I should’ve double checked and I didn’t.
long story short, my jack slipped off of the jack puck and crushed my driver side fender and front of the side skirt. I know I’ll need a new fender (if anyone knows where to find a cheap one, please let me know) and I’ll assume I’ll need a new side skirt.
can someone take a look at the damage...
how accurate is this? You're describing me exactly. I only have like 18% ethanol blend as I put 2 gallons of flex fuel mixed into a full tank of 93. I run map 2 with my JB4. I drive on weekends and around town after work for fun. Am I truly at risk?!
Oh even better… I’m 100% interested. If you would be willing to get a quote from someone to ship it I’d be down. places like UPS and FedEx will package it for you for a fee. If it’s too much hassle I understand.
To preface, yes I’ve read the pinned thread about ways to increase power in our vehicles.
I currently have the following done:
AA Catted DP
MST Intake
JB4
FTP Charge Pipe
Blitz Strut Bar
What’s the next step? If I go exhaust, I’m hoping to keep the valvtronic feature but do I truly expect...
I’ll check out those tires. Am I correct in assuming that “stickier” tires would help solve this issue? I’m not knowledgeable in the tire world whatsoever.
