I done fu**ed up… PLEASE HELP!

long story short, my jack slipped off of the jack puck and crushed my driver side fender and front of the side skirt. I know I’ll need a new fender (if anyone knows where to find a cheap one, please let me know) and I’ll assume I’ll need a new side skirt.

can someone take a look at the damage and tell me what all needs to be replaced and how difficult it is to do? I assume I can take the side skirt off with the plastic bits underneath and the fender from the wheel well and top under the hood but any help would be greatly appreciated.

gonna need some repair not just replacement of parts. but if you dont mind the bent body just slap on fender and side skirt. Now would be a good time for upgrades

Looks like new sideskirt and fender + paint.

You are lucky your car is black, the paint should match perfect.

You could also buy some aftermarket carbon fenders.

You learned a lesson and be glad it didn't fall on you and hurt you - dont worry it has happened to many folks!

Funny thing is… I have and used the puck. I felt underneath rather than laying eyes on the jack being properly centered on the puck and started jacking it up. I should’ve double checked and I didn’t.

I’ve removed the side skirt so here is a better view. It looks like a thin metal piece of the body that I’m thinking maybe I can hammer straight?

Also to add: the side skirt looks to somehow be perfectly fine. It’s the trim that holds the side skirt that is bent to hell and cracked. Here is a better picture: any idea the part number for this?

Ouch, I would be so pissed at myself.

I’ve thought of wedging a piece of cardboard in between the puck and the car lift point so the puck stays stuck on the car.

That way you could jack up without looking if it’s aligned or fall off like yours did.

If anyone has a part number for the piece that that the side skirts clip in to, I’d really appreciate it. that’s the only part I don’t have info for that I’ll need.

I’ve searched a good bit on the forums and can’t find any part numbers or similar incidents. Any part number expert out there? It’s the part that the side skirts clip in to. See pictures for reference
