This is a current grid and electrical infrastructure problem we have right now in 2022. This will be mitigated over the coming years with drastic improvements to both. That and lithium-ion battery chemistry with all its downsides and limitations will before 2035 become a thing of the past at...
GIven that the 4Runner isn't even the same class of SUV that it once was and also given that the far too large Tacoma is almost never available in an ultra basic single cab configuration (it's just a TRUCK after all) and since both vehicles and all their competitors are jammed with equipment and...

The A90 indeed will no longer be sold after the 2026 model year (in actual year 2025) so that means that if the start of R&D on the Toyota GT3 Concept chassis began almost a year ago there would have anywhere between 4-5 years of total development time between when the concept was first...

I hope you mean the 1999-2002 style MKIV Supra steering wheel. A few Toyota models of that era used the same design (late model MKIV's, Altezza/IS200/IS300, MR2 Spyder, '98-?? Rav4, etc.) and it's an excellent and pleasing design.
I have one installed in my SC300 (with an identical IS300 airbag...

Slightly disappointing but not at all surprising. And it seems that the Crown coupe model and EV Celica will be future models filling the gap that upscale Toyota badged RWD coupe grand touring cars once filled. They won't be the same kind of thing (as a Z30 Soarer) but I'm glad they will be...

In that case it sounds like a back-to-Z30-style SC/Soarer style successor is not going to be what the Lexus variant will be if "LFA 2.0" is what they're going for. Ah well... we did get the LC coupe and convertible after all and those are pretty much what an evolved SC400 should be.
I recall...

Driving review of the Hyundai Vision N 74 & RN22e.
So far Hyundai hasn't done much about the lack of sound in the Vision N 74 but it is just a design study and R&D prototype for now. Still, it's quick.
Perhaps this is nothing we didn't already know but it's nice to see another article mentioning it the G16E engine turned longitudinal and fitted into the one GR86 test car for carbon neutral fuels:

I think the issue there is that ZF is not a usual supplier for Toyota or most other Japanese automakers, especially with automatics. ZF is a transmission supplier for their current Supra because so much of its architecture is not and was not intended to use much of Toyota's usual parts suppliers...
If both brands get to use their own versions of the same core chassis for different cars then that would be an excellent approach.
This was, after all, the way some of the costs were spread around more between the Supra MKIV, Z30 Toyota Soarer and Lexus SC300/400 in the 1990's.

Most likely a stout 8-speed automatic as the second transmission option in a year or two since that's already deep into development for the G16E engine.
Personally...? I'd only consider the GR Corolla (or Supra) in a manual because... pretty soon the option won't be offered any longer anyway and I really, really like using manual transmissions on the street. For an automatic-like experience with only two pedals I'll look to most EVs. But if...
