Oh, I have been. To make it worse, that's the dealership I bought my 86 from. I'd had all the work done on my car there, and had even yhought about trying to get a job at the dealership.
They're now dead to me.
Edit: got a call from Hendrick Toyota, I'm now #1 on their list. They're going...
Just got a call from Hendrick Toyota. They're going to be doing a webinar type thingy in the next couple of days. Says this normally means they'll see the vehicles in the next 30 days.
I already knew that, since release is supposed to be July 22nd.
Nice that the salesman actually called me...
I'm damned excited to see what the new engine can do. I think it'll surprise everyone.
Still waiting to hear anything from the dealerships here in NC. May have to go by on saturday, once my circadian cycle is back to normal (working overnights this week).
I'm willing to pay up to 5k over msrp, but I'm also trading my 2013 FRS, so it would end up being below msrp (that I'm paying).
Anything over that, they can suck it
If you really want a manual, then wait. I'm no Toyota employee, but I'm 100% positive there will be one offered in under 18 months.
I personally want an auto, but I'm getting older and my knees suck.
I want my tuner to get rid of the limiter on the trans, just because. We have a shop here that may let me do a top speed run on their dyno, so we should get to find out.
Thats how it seems. I called another dealer in the area to put my name on their list, and while they are likely to stick with MSRP......they said they're gonna put peoples names in a hat.
So yeah.
The fiancee is very confused as to why this car has so much trouble from the dealers, tried...
