The naming convention I think is just the way Toyota Australia are naming their sports models, the 86 also has GT and GTS trims. For the UK market they are the same with the GR Supra and GR Supra Pro, and the GT86 and GT86 Pro. Just different names for the (I'm assuming) same trim levels.

If they do this and make the parts backwards compatible to launch cars, available from the dealers/Toyota directly, and since fitted to the newer cars from factory make it so that it doesn't void any remaining warranty, I think they'll really be on to a winner.

The official UK customer production drives are at the end of June, so either they work for Toyota, a media company that's already had a drive, a tuning company with access or they're speaking shite. I'll give the benefit of the doubt though. What exactly about the drive was so disappointing...

It might do, I remember a lot of the pre-production reviews thought it felt like around 350hp and some said maybe a bit more. I can't imagine that they would have made it feel slower than that with the extra tuning time etc. Just have to see once the reviews come out!
