Yeah, they won’t provide a benefit though. There is some metal ones to replace the synthetic rubber stock one if you like the looks. They seem to be all painted black though, so not that different looking.
The alternative to that is you kill your battery in the middle of nowhere and can’t even make it into work on time as that was the your vehicle of choice that day.
Not that I have personally experience that.
That’s what your Supra comes with stock. 25lbs a piece.
Why did you replace them? Looks? Found even lighter wheels?
I plan to have mine powder coated and keep the stock wheels.
Apparently that’s been the case across many manufacturers for a while. I’m not sure how it works I’m not an expert, but I do know modern cars “phone home” when they are taken to the dealership.
personally I’ve seen some incredibly interesting logs my “modern” car makes. My current 2012 Toyota...
If funny how I still thinking there is some tinkering to do to make it better. Just used to crappy setups I think from factory. Filters have made no performance gains so far, but if it makes more turbo noise I’m all in!
Currently all the mini cats throw codes. It’s too sensitive and there is no option besides a direct tune to stop the code, thus voiding warranty.
I’ve messaged a few users and any previous “no cel” are now getting cels.
so the option is to either keep clearing it with a piggyback, flash the...
Let me know if you notice a change with the front brace on. How it feels etc etc.
Apparently it was omitted on purpose, but the Z4 has it from factory.
Washington state has them for MSRP if you want to take a drive. More than a few dealers have them on lot $55
Of course, that’s not for that beautiful blue.
Haven’t tried yet. I don’t think it will be an issue and it would allow the shitty dealerships to cool down the outrageous prices.
Here in BC Canada you can’t sell over MSRP... so these idiots drive the car 100-200km and sell “used” for $80k
In terms of performance it would be this car and the m2 competition, but they are not related mechanically... the Supra is a 4 series with some 5 series parts. It’s a really good mashup for the price.
Yeah same reason why I’m not getting wheels first thing: they come forged and lightweight and most aftermarket are the same weight or more (unless you spend some serious $$$)
