If you are not going to keep running track, it should be fine. I do instruct at NASA NE and I bought supra to track it. I've been on "full" track days entire 2020 calendar plus 3 track events (7 days) this year. stock brake system held up OK until last time. - brake pad wear sensor went off...
Are you saying Wrapping the Brake Calipers? if so, don't do it unless the wrap is approved for over 1,500 degrees.. other wise, my guess would be either wrap will melt and burn into the caliper or your caliper will catch fire... even for painting, you will need to use high temp paint specific...
Are you ready for Monaco GP? Although it is exciting venue, races has been not so interesting as it is hard to pass and usually 1st qualifier wins the race for that reason..
So the mini prediction for this weekend, will the 1st qualifier win the race also? Yes or No. ;)
I agree with you as well. using paddle shift properly around the track is not given to you right away. It needs a lot of practice. Plus, I don't enjoy driving 6 spd on street and through traffic. manuals and paddle shift really shines when driven in track. Also, I've seen many manual gear...
Come to NASA NE trackday event and show me you can do it properly using paddle shift around track. Even the most experienced manual transmission drivers had hard time if they haven't had practices before.
Soo... Merc & RB Ganged up and only one is being accused?? kinda like "Bonnie & Clyde robbed the bank but Bonnie is OK to rob bank because she is a women"... Love is blind.. :D
After running Federal 595 RS-Pro for awhile, my fronts are worn out! I also had an incident with one of the rear so I had to replace it.. stupid mistake... however, what is shocking right now is I cannot find these sizes! 595 RS-Pro 255 35 19 & 275 35 19 are dry and cannot find it any where...
now that we have breathing room for few days... some footage from old races. some actions from participants & equipments probably won't be allowed in present days.. :)
RIP Murray Walker.
you better drive it carefully... Otherwise, tow it just in case.. I'd hate to see wheels falling off...
better yet, take the wheel spacers out and use stock bolts to torque it before driving to anywhere..
Just my thought.. you will not be able to do that especially if you are bringing rear (275 35 19) and want to fit it on front. it will severely damage inner wall of the tire as well as will wear out paint on strut. also, having different overall diameter - due to different size tires - may...
last year, we met around Edgewater, NJ and drove all the way up to bear mountain. It was a great ride if it wasn't for an animal incident... :( I'm sure some of us would be interested as well as one of the sponsor tuner, I believe twisted tuning, might be interested in gathering. Also, to...
On a close battle like this, RB needs the other car to support max. nevertheless, MB did fantastic job saving a set of medium tires and executing it on right time.
Ferrari also did awesome job as well as Alpine. despite McLaren lagging, Ricardo pulled it quite well. finally, not bad for...
Alpine has been on-pace since last race. Alonso cannot be over-looked as well not just Ocon. they are becoming formidable contender for 3rd constructor along with Ferrari and McLaren. Also, good to see Danny Ric getting hang of the car as well. Lando will have handful this week.
