i'm still catching up on this as I was out on track all weekend long. so no opinion yet. ;) but looks like it was a good race as I heard some highlights. glad to see perez's win, vettle's 2nd, & max's retirement. Also saw Sir. Ham's mature tweet and I'm sure he will bounce back so not...
If you are going to complimentary NASA trackday, Toyota supplied helmets to rent it out for free to supra owners. So if you are unsure, ask your NASA region and see if they can reserve a size for you.
Toyota is putting a lot of money to promote GR cars, it looks like.
If you are going to track, DO both front & rear. your chasis will be happier. stock setup and cusco setup is designed to roll similar rate when used front and rear. if you mix it, it's going roll different and will be unstable.
Only person who can handle wilderness of Max is Hamilton. Will Leclere be a help? based on today's Max's interview - which I thought it was very arrogant - I hope he crashes out like he used to.
regardless, it will be interesting.
in my opinion, the title of this thread sickens me for deminimizing tone of it. I think we can think of better way to express than that.... but in today's world, you title it in such way so you get more click.. sad...
Besides that, 2.0 wasn't available when i bought mine so I hadn't had...
I agree with you on brake. I was doing fine with the brake on 20+ track days. not sure why people complain so much on the brake.. I think these are pretty good brakes and it will do fine given that it was broken-in properly.
here are some images from the event.

Baku Race is near! The prediction challenge for this week is - hopefully not landing on green - will Mercedes re-take 1st place over Red Bull? They are separated by only a single point. Even if Sir Hamster win the race and Max is at p2, ifff Bottas retires due to lug nut and Perez is P6 or...
It's not the track who has requirement. Mostly, it's organizer who requires "SA" only or "M" is OK as well. So it's best to contact organizer. just an FYI. M is for single impact and SA passes multi-impact. Auto-Racing Requires SA.
if you are in DE1, I'd recommend it to leave it on. if you are in DE 2, 3, or 4, it won't bother you much.
These are 2 objectives I give to every student.
1. Go home with same car you came with - be safe!
2. Have fun.
there are no reason to risk anything on the track when you are in HPDE...
nope. just give enough room between you and car in front. it goes off when it detects car in front of you is slowing down much faster than you are. it rarely goes off for me but I've seen it occuring to DE1 students more when they are not using their brake properly.
have you come out to track day? we just had one last week and another one 6/4 weekend. Stock brake pad did just fine for me on the track throughout year but I had to replace it just about a month ago.
it's a bit special occasion.. there were steep discount on 2020 last year. I doubt it will hold value in mid-term. in a long term /w low miles, yes. As a short term, it's holding it very well.
I'm not sure if you call it a high turn over.. just checked the auto trader and out of 1000+ supra listed, only about 200+was used. I'm pretty sure some of it are new but listed as used to attract customer. mine was listed as "used" last year although it was new.
however, listed price is a...
