I'm seeing a bunch of dealers list 2023 3.0 premiums on CarGurus with manual transmissions now. Does anyone know if dealers are actually getting allocations for the non-A91 manuals or are the dealers just lying to ride the manual hype train...
Considering they had a supra video called "3 pedals short of greatness", I'm betting they'll do one eventually.
They're probably waiting until they actually have one to review outside of that event.
Very. I know people use the ZF S6-53 (used in f80/g80 and what the supra box is based on) in 1000+ whp builds without much of an issue.
Edit: I've watched a bunch of the manual supra review videos and haven't seen anyone mention a bad clutch pedal feel caused by a clutch delay valve like BMW...
Yeah the Mach 1 is about a half second slower in the quarter mile but it will stomp the supra around a track. It also has Cup 2's from the factory so I'm sure that's a big part of it.
In the US, only the special editions get the red badge. In some other markets its all of the manuals.
Edit: Also more allocations should be dropping over the next few days. Fingers crossed.
Spoke with my dealer today just to confirm everything for when they get an allocation. I'm just paying MSRP + $399 processing fee for a 3.0 premium in stratosphere. No extra required add ons or financing through them.
Looks great. Getting anxious waiting on mine.
This blue is wayyy better than downshift. Downshift is alright, just kind of a boring blue for a car like this.
Have you looked at the stratosphere blue thread in the last few days? The pictures people are posting look amazing.
