Considering they're built in the same plant, we may see that color on the Supra eventually. I was originally hoping they were going to offer that for the 2023 but I like stratosphere blue even better. It looks more purple in real life than it does in pictures.
That article also mentions...
I hope it's not that long but I guess we'll see. I've seen estimates from dealers all over the place so I doubt they know much more than us at this point.
Mine said they already put the allocation preference in. I'd guess they're probably already working on building them, they just haven't released any allocations to the dealers yet.
Wow they butchered the M2. The previous gen was so good looking too.
Based on the m240i weight (3900 lbs), this thing is going to be a pig too. I realize the M2 won’t be AWD like the m240i but it will be gaining a second turbo plus all of the required plumbing and cooling for that. I doubt...
I got a good close up look of a 440i in this color in the bright sun today. It looks incredible in real life. It’s also a good bit more purple than it looks like in pictures which I personally love.
I can’t wait to see the Supra in this color.
I'm not particularly familiar with modern EWG's but how would excess pressure in the intake force the waste gate open? Waste gates are on the exhaust side to let the exhaust bypass the turbine so the turbo stops spinning faster once it reaches the desired boost level. They don't have anything...
I don't think anyone has gotten an allocation for a non-A91 manual supra yet if that's what you're asking.
I've seen a few people take delivery of automatic 2023's in stratosphere though.
It's the same reason everyone hates the engine noises pumped in by the speakers.
They're both obnoxious and fake. There's no reason for the car to be backfiring other than the shitty tune.
I don't mind loud exhausts at all when they sound good, but the crackle tunes are the equivalent of...
I'm waiting on the same thing. Hopefully it's not that long until they start making them.
It's already been a long wait since April when I put a deposit down.
Once you put an intake on it, it will probably sound like the automatics do when you let off the gas under high boost. It's almost a compressor surge sound because of the way the b58 releases excess pressure through the cylinders rather than using a CBV/BOV.
