I read part of this as they were going to detune the CH-R drivetrain and use it for the Corolla GR. Some real Fred Flintstone shit as you’d be pushing the Corolla if it had a detuned CH-R drivetrain.

I don’t see that happening here. A lot of Chinese did not have cars as their public transportation systems are excellent. What I am inferring (pulling out my ass) is that a good number of people who could afford cars but used public transportation now see a compelling reason to get one...
