Do you get any lights / notifications because of it? I’d have it at the dealer for warranty inspection if I was running those temps during normal driving. Most are hovering around 210-220 on normal usage from what I’ve seen.

You are right, it is based on miles/gallon. It gets real cute at the ass end of the gauge when it drops from two bars quickly to no bars because of driving conditions. Then it clears up and one bar appears again only to fall off again (and repeat the process).

The trick for matte paint is to use clear tape.
