Hey A70TTR, after that event in Spain I am a little concerned, that the mkv really is just a z4 in a Toyota body. I am not one of those Armageddon preacher's which hang around on this forum, but all those BMW knobs and switches and all the new rumours about no iron block made me nervous. #fixed...
I know nothing is final yet, but I have to admit that I hate this steering wheel.
It looks like it came right of a family van and looks as "sports car" as a Prius.
If this is the real deal, it will be the first thing to change.
I think the way Toyota shows the mkv to the public is weird and tough. First years of spyshots, those endless teases, Goodwood and now this event in Spain and it's still camo'd and the teasing goes on.
It's like the guy who manages this is a apprentice.
Guys .... calm down. It's a fu**ing car!!!! If you don't like it ok, but you don't know a lot about it and have not even driven one... how can you dare to judge.
Let's see what Toyota gives us, no one can change what they come up with. Take it or leave it.
back to topic...
I know someone @ Mazda who has some insight, and he told me that I will be a very happy man at the second half of next year. No further details so far to avoid any trouble. ;)
If you drive really sporty through corners and narrow twisty roads or on the track you better use both hands. One hand driving is more of a lazy driving style.
I just hope those paddles are big enough.
Being early on the power out of a corner can be tricky if you miss the paddle.
