If you already have a flex fuel kit: every single thing about that install, except for the Continental ethanol sensor, gets removed. The Reflex replaces all of it. Do not try to kludge together your current flex fuel setup with the Reflex.
The only thing you'll need to do is plug the ethanol...
I have the exact same hardware, exact same o-rings, no leaks. I did the install myself. Is this shop assembling things in the correct order? I would need a ton of hands to count all the times people take their car to a "pro shop" and the shop just butchers the install. Seriously, I would have so...
I finally decided to give Rexpeed a try with their recent 20% deal on their website. Bought fenders and some interior carbon. One of the items showed up damaged beyond saving, even though the box looked unsmashed and unpunctured. So what happened? It was clear the box had been bent, however, as...
This tube has oil residue in it because it is part of the crank case ventilation system. The area with the actual crank/rods/pistons has gaseous pressure that builds up. This pressure has to go somewhere. It is relieved through this tube, and another one down low on the engine block. This...
They probably connected to the wrong one. Happens often. There's a post about this error about once a month, here. Still, that battery needs a charge. A new battery doesn't mean it's charged.
If you're @ 1050cc injector (or smaller), side-firing from a PI plate will be fine. It's not a hard and fast rule, but up to 600 or 700 HP I think a PI plate is fine. Higher than that, recommend a manifold so the injectors can fire straight down. 1050cc is good up to 1000ish (I cannot account...
Reflex Plus, a PI solution of your choice (I went with Remnant Performance), a tensility motorsport harness for the Reflex, the PTF ethanol kit, and one of these: Vader, Spool, PFS, or Visconti LPFP.
The wiring harness is not required, but the one that comes with the Reflex is low quality and...
I just licensed ISTA and GTS+ for two days on a Win11 machine. Completed about 10 days ago. Just installed GTS+ and the very latest ISTA+ link on the TechStream website. GTS installs first, do a login to complete the license. Then install ISTA and start it.
How do you propose they standardize it? There are very few true 3.5" exhausts on the market. At last check, there are more 4.0" than 3.5". Do they use slip fit? Band clamp? V-band? How would this manufacturer offer a downpipe that requires no modification? Supra customers bitch constantly on...
Yes and no. On a Pure, I've personally seen a car gain 60WHP going from stock to a full 4" exhaust with no change in tune. Bigger turbos would gain even more.
