Bought in December and Iām up to a whopping 200 miles. Weather and COVID related telework have me doing little driving. Would like to get past the break-in period so I can mash on the skinny pedal.
All I know of WOT came from a test drive of a used ā20.
Itās not just the ambient temperature, but the temperature of the tire itself. If itās 35°F out, but the overnight low had been in the teens, your tires might be much colder than ambient until you have driven a bit.
These tires are unpleasant below freezing. They are passable for modest use in...
I doubt it will happen, but it would be interesting if somebody somewhere collected data on whether or not there is a measure able affect on engine temps (and how much). I know thatās not necessarily a reason why folks buy these, but would be interesting.
I am also curious about where to get these from. Iām using BMW all weather mats from an F22 and they are a good, but not great fit. These look nice and if they are a better fit (at a reasonable price) Iād grab them.
You were absolutely 100% correct. I was completely wrong. Yes, the car resets to the default (flappy-flap closed in normal mode) after you turn off the car.
the good news is, who runs in normal mode anyway?
Iāll make a video of the whole process and confirm. Iāll start with Bimmerlink off and will connect and make sure that the flap isnāt (or is) triggered when the connection is made.
Apologies, I posted thinking I had replied to you, but it was a new post.
I went outside and confirmed that Bimmerlink changes the setting so that the flap is always open. My flap (er...the Supraās flap) stays open even in normal mode and after turning the car off and on.
What you donāt get...
