Also off topic, has anyone gone to Club Motorsports up in NH?

A friend and I just recently found out about it. Looks like a pretty sweet track and a decent amount of elevation change. Bet it's beautiful in Fall too...
I'm running the HKS springs at the HKS factory height. Tbh I quite like them. However I don't have much to compare against since all my other cars were on factory suspension and I had the supra on eibach springs prior.
I'm definitely going to get coils next year (probably some custom valved...
Ah interesting. And what oil weight were you using? Sounds like the exact feeling I got with fuel slosh. Had a half a tank and came out of the gulch at Pitt Race like a bat out of hell and the car just fell on its face for a half second then kept going. Weird thing was I didn't get an error...
Yeah I've heard multiple times that our cars run hot. I figured I'd see some sort of limp mode before it gets bad but still worrying when I see it creep up haha. I'm on 0w-20 as well, thought about going to Liqui-Moly's 5w-30 but I'm still on rhe fence. I know many people do just fine but idk...
Well, this was yesterday but close enough: drove in my first ever Time attack event (other than 5 or so track night in America events) and managed to get 1st place in Tuner 2 as well as 6th overall out of 32! Managed to fend off 3 C7 Z06s too ??
If anyone hasn't been out to the Pittsburgh...
Ahh thanks for that data! Ok seems about right then I guess. South Course is fairly technical and doesn't have the 2 long straights that the full course has, so I assume that doesn't help.
Thanks!
What sort of oil temps is everyone seeing on average while on track? I was at Pitt race south course the other day and noticed my temps creep up into 250-260 after a couple consecutive hotlaps according to Bimmerlink. It was high 70s to mid 80°F out. I typically see 220s in normal driving...
Hi everyone, I've been wanting to add vents to my hood but can't bring myself to cut into it just yet. Unfortunately I'm not a big fan of a lot of the vented carbon hoods, and the ones I actually do like cost more than some miatas. However I've seen the VIS carbon hood and comparatively speaking...
Hi everyone, i recently came across Speed Engineering and their various parts for our cars. It seems like everything is well thought out and engineered quite well! However I haven't seen very many people running their parts yet. Has anyone installed their brake cooling kit? At ~$400 it seems...
Definitely take a look at getting some alumalite! I got a huge sheet for ~$120 and it's enough to make side skirts and a 2 piece splitter. My plan is to emulate the basic design of Verus's splitter but make it quick detach so that I can install/remove and split it to fit in the hatch. My roads...
Don't quote me but I believe it does allow for more slip angle. I only drive on track in sport with 1 click (meaning TC is off). I've only really had VSC be invasive once and that was the other day coming out of the gulch at Pitt Race on Nankang CRSs that were probably way over temp. According...
Thanks for all the input, I figured regardless there would be drone no matter what I did but it was worth the question. It's honestly not as bad as my muffler delete on my previous ND2 miata ?
Hey everyone, I've had my Rk Ti signature catback for a bit now and absolutely love it...well until it's around 2k-2.5k rpm. On the highway it's sort of boomy and definitely drones if I'm in the wrong gear. 8th is practically useless unless I'm going 90+ or going downhill.
Since I still have...
