  1. Shmee video: I've Bought a New Toyota GR Supra! First Look

one of the magazine articles said there will only be 1500 Launch Editions worldwide, so it's definitely a bit confusing and very limited to say the least... maybe they're filling the remaining orders will other trims?
  2. Official 2020 Toyota Supra US Specs, Images, Videos

looks like it's the base model 6 that weighs under 3300... apologies. I had heard that was the fully loaded, but I guess that was asking too much. At least the 4cyl car will weigh less than that. And yes, BMW engines routinely dyno their rated crank numbers at the wheels, so I'd fully expect...
  3. Toyota "Preparing" Hotter Supra GRMN, Says Chief Engineer

It's right around there and is what folks crave :D
  4. Interview Questions for Detroit from the Fans

Haha, I was actually picturing Guff trying to curate them and remove the nonsense... 3 sounds about right.
  5. Car and Driver cover: "SUPRA!" + Studio Photos

Yes, 7 to 10mm active adjustment. It's a throwback of sorts to TEMS.
  6. The "Unofficial" Pricing U.S. 2020 Supra models!

    Along those lines, yep.
  7. The "Unofficial" Pricing U.S. 2020 Supra models!

The other brands have been making model after model for years which cuts costs and R&D significantly. As such they also sell far more which also contributes to lowering costs (economy of scale). And that's just a few aspects of the equation; there is plenty more to factor in. So, if we...
  8. The "Unofficial" Pricing U.S. 2020 Supra models!

Not that I'm aware of; it's dealer allocation (so if you got a reservation placed locally you may get one). No official pre-order or anything like that however, at least to my knowledge.
  9. The "Unofficial" Pricing U.S. 2020 Supra models!

The two I'm aware of are fairly simple but they're developing more. This is the debut car for GR and they're not going to let that slip past. The other two are chassis related. Also, several tuning shops are working on parts and rumor has it that TOM's has their own car already (for parts...
  10. The "Unofficial" Pricing U.S. 2020 Supra models!

Japan, USA, and Canada are confirmed afaik. I think you will get them in other areas as well because Gazoo vs regular Toyota. Have to wait and see though.
  11. The "Unofficial" Pricing U.S. 2020 Supra models!

There will be factory items available for tuning through Gazoo and possibly Technocraft, and these parts are always covered under warranty. I know of 4 parts that will available for the car on release and 2 are related to engine performance.
  12. Toyota "Preparing" Hotter Supra GRMN, Says Chief Engineer

Very possible and sounds like something they might already be discussing honestly.
  13. The "Unofficial" Pricing U.S. 2020 Supra models!

Tada's friend said there was a specific reason for it relating to reliability iirc, but this was a long time ago when I asked about it being 340ps (my actual question was why not more).
  14. The "Unofficial" Pricing U.S. 2020 Supra models!

As others have said, BMW underrates their engines, so I'll write this in caps for folks: THIS CAR WILL LIKELY DYNO AT ~3-330WHP So, it's more like a Toyota rating of 370hp at the crank. So dont freak out about the output lol.
  15. The "Unofficial" Pricing U.S. 2020 Supra models!

It's great pricing. People always forget the tunability.
  16. The "Unofficial" Pricing U.S. 2020 Supra models!

Well, it's nice to see they met the original 55k target Tada gave me for the fully loaded I6 car. I'd heard as high as 59.9k from US personnel, but I'm glad that wasnt the case as it would have been too high. Also looks like the stripped down version will be available for less weight and...
  17. Latest 2020 Supra Interior Spy Pics!

My biggest gripe hands down is the interior and always has been since I first sat in the mule with half of it missing. It never really improved. I like the car, but I'm just not sure why it had to be that bland.
  18. Toyota "Preparing" Hotter Supra GRMN, Says Chief Engineer

I'm pretty sure it is indeed for like 2-3mpg. It's all priorities sadly, and as long as marketing can say 301hp they're happy. I feel the same as you, and so do my other TMG compatriots. A few of which just messaged me on this subject actually (after they saw this discussion) haha.
