  1. The A70TTR Dedication Thread!

graphene is another big one, and Toyota is pushing hard for hydrogen fuel cell (which is my bet for the future long term). on the grid side, nuclear is absolutely the way to go, but we have to push all of the ignorance/fear around it out first.
  2. The A70TTR Dedication Thread!

Boom, replied before I even could. That's exactly right... None of it happens in a day, but with 2026 being the year noted, you can expect a massive push for charging stations and infrastructure from now until then.
  3. The A70TTR Dedication Thread!

Yeah, thats something I was semi arguing with someone through PM about, and that is that when an automaker the size of VW makes that statement then everyone else is going to follow not far behind. What that means is that the economies of scale and amount of people buying into electric cars is...
  4. The A70TTR Dedication Thread!

I wanted to mention something as I get this mess back on track... VW (the 2nd largest automaker on the planet) has stated that their last petrol powered vehicles will be released in 2026. So, as Tada has commented both publicly and privately, the A90 is likely the last purely petrol powered...

so this is what love feels like...
  6. A90 GR Supra Super GT Concept at Tokyo Autosalon (Updated with leaked photo pg. 4)

Haha, the rest of the world doesn't have it afaik. We have Mello Yello, Mountain Dew, and some others. I joke about it because I really like the Skid Factory show Mighty Car Mods hosts, and the lemon squash is a eupemism for that one beer you guys have that looks similar.
  7. A90 GR Supra Super GT Concept at Tokyo Autosalon (Updated with leaked photo pg. 4)

Damn Aussies, you give them an inch and they take a mile. Go drink a lemon squash and ride a roo haha :p
  8. A90 GR Supra Super GT Concept at Tokyo Autosalon (Updated with leaked photo pg. 4)

finally they announced it... this is where a good portion of the rumors are coming from, FYI. (not the upgraded street cars)
  9. Lexus RC350 & RC-F

No idea. The original GT prototypes had CF wing, fenders, doors, hood, and roof, stripped interior and weighed like 3200lbs. Track edition has full interior and systems and afaik only has CF roof, hood, and wing.
  10. The A70TTR Dedication Thread!

Yeah, I mean the RC-F Track Edition has a little more power, upgraded brakes, some new wheels, and composite panels to lighten it up a bit and that's good for an approximate $30k increase. The Supra should be more involved than that apparently. That said, it may end up being more in line with...
  11. The A70TTR Dedication Thread!

The top tier car is def the one to dream of, but they're so not even close to the price of the road car lol. We're likely talking LC money from what's been said.
  12. A90 Supra engines and parts diagrams (all) revealed!

Some really cool stuff on that page
  13. Reviews are in for 2020 Supra MKV preproduction car

Ryley beat me to it lol
  14. The A70TTR Dedication Thread!

not sure about the A90 x Akebonos. We're still using Brembos on the Lexus stuff.
  15. The A70TTR Dedication Thread!

Not aware of an LS-F atm, but I'm fairly engrossed with 3 current projects anyways. so I have very little time, but I can ask.
  16. Lexus RC350 & RC-F

My buddy drove it and said it's cool but nothing incredible... I think he said it makes like 15-20more hp (maybe has the LC revision 5L) and it has some carbon panels to reduce weight, but it's also probably going to be quite expensive as the existing performance package is already $5.5k over...
  17. Lexus RC350 & RC-F

egh, you'd think so but well... I guess someone will buy it though.
  18. I got a chance to see the new Supra without any camo!

The launch edition Supra is also fully loaded with all options, FYI. Not sure on color, but I think it will likely only be available in one color as well... (at least in the U.S.)
  19. The A70TTR Dedication Thread!

Up to Tada and team; I could see it going both ways, but I don't have anything definitive unfortunately. IMO, they will likely continue to hold some information until later in the year with January just serving as another high point to get the Supra back into discussion on social media etc...
