I get that but what I’m confused about is why it can’t be tuned out so the car doesn’t have a CEL?

Can you elaborate on the not passing emissions due to the CEL?

It seems like the components in the screen, not the screen itself. I've had it off before and if I shake the screen a bit that's when it rattles.

At what horsepower though? Does keeping it under 700 seem to be relatively safe and reliable?

I wish I could say the same. Does anyone have any pointers on how to remove the glove box? It's hard to pin point it but it seems like it's coming from behind there. My screen also seems seems to rattle but I'm out of warranty so I'm not sure what my options are there.

Mine seems further back than the latch, but I've tried opening and closing as well as removing everything from the glove box and it doesn't make a difference.

Yeah, I've tried that. I had the whole front part of the dash apart and the screen dangling there while my wife held it while driving so I could try and diagnose. I think it is a source of some rattling but not the one that I'm chasing down here.
