  1. Radar Detector/Laser Jammer Installation

I can confirm that mounting a valentine v1 gen 2 on the headliner by the mirror via a visor mount will pick up radar from all directions. Looks super clean and well hidden.
  2. Forge Catch Can

Nice find! Makes me feel even better. I'm sure there are more out there with issues, but I figured there would be a lot more noise if it was affecting more people. I'll keep my fingers crossed but I'm feeling pretty good today.
  3. Replace Battery notification?!?

    63 pounds. Holy crap lol.
  4. Forge Catch Can

I'm not convinced it's a lot. I've seen approximately 20 ish folks between here and five different Facebook groups reporting issues (out of hundreds sold). A few of them were also not 100% sure as they were down below the maximum line, but no where near minimal either. One guy was at 5k miles on...
  5. Radar Detector/Laser Jammer Installation

Hey bud. Now that you've run this puppy for a bit, how is it doing for picking up rear radar in that location? I'm about to follow your lead as my v2 arrived this weekend. Thanks.
  6. Another Subwoofer/Audio upgrade question

Hell yeah. Go big or go home lol.
  7. Another Subwoofer/Audio upgrade question

Yes. I pick it up tomorrow, I hope. Parts were a bit delayed in shipping so I got a late start. It's been in the shop all week so I'm pretty excited haha. I'll post a report once I have it back.
  8. 2021 locked ECU JB+ users?

Fair enough. Apologies if I came across as being a jerk. I have the jb4 on my 21 so I can only comment on that which I know isn't super helpful. I'm sure someone will chime in soon as this forum is pretty good at helping one another.
  9. 2021 locked ECU JB+ users?

I implied absolutely nothing. I merely suggested a search to broaden your scope for answers. As for making assumptions, try staring into a mirror. Best of luck in your findings.
  10. 2021 locked ECU JB+ users?

Use the search feature on the forum. There was a discussion a few weeks ago regarding jb+ causing errors for some here.
  11. Tires for new wheels

Will do! It's at the audio shop this week getting a full system upgrade. Hopefully I have her back by Friday.
  12. Tires for new wheels

305s on the rear and 265s up front now
  13. Anyone using JB4?

Thanks. I'll definitely look into it.
  14. Anyone using JB4?

I'm considering ordering a Fuel-it flex sensor so I can run e30 full time. Researching it to see if it's something I want to do or not. I have e85 all over the place so it's tempting.
  15. Tires for new wheels

No offense taken here, bud. This is why I made a post looking for suggestions. Wheels arrived before I had a chance to order so they got installed with the appointment time I had slotted. Tires are ordered and go on tomorrow. I can't speak for other owners but this one doesn't ignore the finer...
  16. Tires for new wheels

Here you go! I just ordered 305/30s for the rear. Now to decide if I keep the 255s in the front or move the rear 275s up front instead :hmm: The front tires don't stretch that badly tbh. The rears I couldn't stand lol.
  17. Official Oil consumption thread: Car excessively burning oil?

5w40 was the suggestion I was told as well. I'm super tempted to try it but I'm only at 1300 miles haha.
  18. Official Oil consumption thread: Car excessively burning oil?

I know a couple of fellas who have 21s and said to hell with it and put a heavier oil in their cars. Neither have had any issue at all and both are at or past 10k. They said they know the risks of running "non spec" oil if anything does happen but also say it's what bmw runs on their B58s and...
  19. Tires for new wheels

Edit: ordered 305/30s for the rear. Now do I move the 275s from the rear to the front or keep the 255s :hmm: I posted a few pics two posts down for visuals. Thanks again. Hey folks. I just put on my new BC forged wheels yesterday evening and used the stock tires for the time being as I wasn't...
  20. Official Oil consumption thread: Car excessively burning oil?

This too is where I'm at. I'm going to drive it and if it happens to me, I'll go through the warranty process etc.
