The RWD model does 0-60 in 4.5. We also have to keep in mind that it does does weight more at 3,882lbs. It's also using an old Jatco 7 speed tranny. The new one is supposely a 9G-Tronic from Mercedes.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Everyone that has sat inside of the proto hasn't...
Correct, iirc the majority of sales from all gens of Z4 are made up of the base model. Hence why they are usually not as wanted or fetch as much in the used market. It seems people are more geared more towards the less common mid and higher trim Z4 models.
Not Supra related by some 2022 Toyota models are starting to be announced.

Are they reworking that front end a bit, or maybe there will be an option for a 2nd grille? :dunno:
Best look to date.

The reasons are all over the place. IIRC one guy here kept hurting his back getting in and out of it. Another said only after a week or so his wife made him take it back and another guy lost his job.
X2 on driving them both and see which one fits you better. Also maybe factor in resale. At least with the Z4s the base models don't seem to fetch as much and aren't as desirable. Best of luck on your purchase and let us know which one you pick.
