Mostly agree, but the LE is a bad example to use. It's a 2 port, so mechanically inferior to any standard post 2020 car. The rest of the special editions are at least on par, mechanically
Good points man
I've got the methanol kit installed now as well and that should be nice.
Where/how can we even learn what the GT4 EVO2 cooling setup looks like?
Yer thanks for clarifying, i clearly misunderstood.
Then back to my original point - i live in a significantly hotter climate than most (and track the car very frequently), so i'll take any cooling mods i can get my hands on
Responding to something like this is a pain because of how difficult it is to explain my logic here, but since it's you, and you very clearly know your shit, i'm giving it a go. I'm also having my morning coffee, so this is keeping me entertained.
First of all, i'm sure we agree that the burden...
Well RIP, seems like i'm on my own with that opinion. I still think simple mods don't decrease the resale value of cars like these. On (even slightly) rarer and/or older cars, sure.
A good rule of thumb is to assume that the overwhelming majority of mods don't add value to the car. Many even reduce the value. But imo it's wrong to assume that all "aftermarket mods bring value down" of a car like this, especially smaller more popular mods like spoilers, lips etc... Car's not...
I've wanted a diff brace for a while, but wasn't willing to get rid of the verus cooling plate. Finally gave in and ordered the BMR one, in part because there seemed to be a slight chance they could work together. A little bit of trimming on the Verus part and yep, they fit together.
BMR diff...
At the shop today (if you're in the UAE, Element Performance ftw)
Cusco brace on
Billet aluminum pedals
rear diff brace
if you shave off a bit of the sides you can use the Verus diff cooling plate with this brace
Problem is a lot of people don't have enough situational awareness. It's less about it being unsafe as much as it about it being annoying. I can see how it might make more sense though in the way you described it - point-by for beginners and open passing in the advanced groups
This lines up...
RK stuff looks great tbh, but it's quite pricey. The Titan Motorsports titanium exhaust is a lot cheaper. Doesn't look as nice obv, but does the job if all you're looking for is a lightweight titanium exhaust.
I'm really not a fan of point-by overtaking. I'm not sure how much safer it is than our method, where it's the job of the person overtaking to make sure they're doing so safely. We don't have many accidents at all. There are 3 clear benefits to that....the 1st is that you spend a lot less time...
Every time i think i'm not old i come across some new Gen Z phrase and...guess i'm old
Doesn't it require drilling the subframe? That's what BMR says.
No changes to NVH? I'm been wanting to get some kind of diff brace that doesn't make me have to get rid of the Verus cooling plate
Not a car related post, but a Dubai one. When people ask me what it's like to live in dxb, i usually tell them that it's a city that's built for convenience unlike any other. This picture usually does a good job at illustrating that:

That's an expensive engine bling mod if that's all your after. But your money your call of course. Like djf said, you can pretty much hit your power goal with the OEM turbo. 500whp is nothing to scoff at.
