And i think most people underestimate how how much aero/downforce a 992 GT3 RS has. I'll reiterate: a 1000+ C8 ZR1 could not put down a faster lap time. And it's not like that ZR1 was not specifically built to go fast around a track...
I feel the same way about the Supra. Tbh i also really like the "feel", after throwing the entire SPL catalogue at it, along with various braces, engine/trans mounts etc.....That said, I don't think any modern car will feel as nice as a sorted S2000, and going a step further, almost no road car...

This Evo is in the unlimited class. So it's one of those "no rules" builds. The same ones you would see at the WTAC in Sydney.
And yeah totally agree on the factory suspension bit, especially when that factory suspension is part of a $100,000 Manthey upgrade...

It's fair question to ask tbh, but i think that's really just a small part of the equation here. Let's go back to the ZR1 comparison. With twice the HP, the ZR1 has a significantly higher power to weight ratio than a GT3 RS. Meant nothing at the Nurburgring. That's how fast that damn thing...

A 991, maybe. The latest 992 GT3 RS? Same driver skill??? Yeah nah man gonna have to disagree there. They're comically fast man. Looking at the times on our side of the pond, very few machines can keep up. The Garmin Catalyst lap times are public.

Random question for you guys who compete in time attack events. I'm assuming that most time attack rules in the US are at least somewhat similar to those of gridlife.
So looking at the streetmod class for example, where the rules are:
200tw tires
Aftermarket aero allowed
No horsepower...
Thought i'd share an update on the billet aluminum pedals now that they've been on for a week or so.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with the OEM pedals, but i'm a big fan of improving everything that you physically interact with. That would be shifter (for MT), steering wheel, pedals, seats...

Even though there seems to a lot of clearance, the Eibach sway bar has carved a bit out of the SPL LCA.
The sway bar is on the medium setting, so I'm assuming it would've been worse if it was on the hard setting, with the butt of the sway pushed out more towards the...
Inferior is a relative term, and you're using it in the absolute sense when comparing it to other non B58 cars.
Of course the 2 port is inferior to the 6 port. Doesn't mean the 2 port is bad....at all. It wouldn't be the deciding factor for me if I was choosing a car, but if it was the ONLY...
