Just got off the phone with Justin with BavSound. He had no info regarding specs or if and when they'll have an amp for us. Though he did confirm that their amps do have a useable remote out and single rca line out.
The signal is processed through their DSP with a 80hz crossover built in. The...
Being interested in the BavSound Revenant amp as well, I have been trying to gather some hard specs for the amp from other platforms, but with no luck. Seems Bavsound doesn't like talking about specs but words on "how great it is."
Watching some videos, hoping there will be some details given...
Thats good to hear the amp accepted the high level voltage. I read the VXi amps can accept up to 200 mV - 16 V RMS. Do you happen to know what the voltage is off the sub speaker lines?
Also any reason not to take the full range signal from the fronts? Bad factory EQs?
So that will plug into the T Harness I posted and converting to low level signal via RCA's. My concern is the factory EQ not flattening enough through that LOC.
Justin, with your VXi amp having a built in DSP did you directly input the high level signal to that AMP?
Did you utilize any harnesses like TechnicPNP?
Would you say the upper base response and mid range capacity of the Ghost subs would be ideal if one were to add an aftermarket sub to produce the desired low range?
You wouldn't want to completely disconnect the oem subs as they play mid range frequencies correct?
If so we can try utilizing...
