I was referring to your original post where you expected the car to auto-lock the doors after shutting off the engine and walking away -- it does not have that feature.
I bet the dealer forgot to remove the shipping spacers on one side of the car. Happens all the time. Look at the spring/strut and see if there is a plastic-rubber bushing jammed in there. You can jack up the car and remove the spacer yourself, but it would be good to bring this to the...
Both frequencies have been spec'd for the Supra and there are two different Toyota part numbers that are available. Recent model BMWs can come with either frequency. I replied in the other thread with more info.
Toyota has spec'd two different sensors for the Supra, the first was 42607WAA01 which is 315MHz. Second is 42607WAA02 which is 433MHz. Both are still "live" in the parts system and tagged for the Supra. I don't know the difference or when/why there was a change, but I suspect both are...
As if Toyota of Japan would have anything to do with it! That person doesn't seem to understand that the Supra has no software in common with the rest of the Toyota line, so it's not even relevant what Toyota has done with other models.
If you take OTD and remove taxes, fees, trades, markups, warranties, etc -- which is required to get a comparable number to gauge deals other people are getting around the country -- then you are talking about the selling price of the car. In which case OTD is not really helping at all, so skip...
Skip OTD and focus on the selling price of the vehicle only, not including taxes, trades, fees, etc, otherwise it's impossible to compare. OTD prices are super specific to the car/person/deal/location and rarely of any use when comparing.
I have never understood the attitude/arrogance rejecting the BMW involvement. BMW makes some very competent sports cars, and the Supra improved on that in several ways. It slots in the hole between BMW M-sport models and true M cars that BMW doesn't serve. It dropped the price point by...
That's because you joined after the car went on sale. Prior to launch, there were many "is it a BMW or is it a Toyota" debates. Now there isn't a whole lot to argue about -- anyone who sees/drives the car can answer that for themselves.
I bought four of these to use with my lift, and they have worked well:

That would be my guess too, and it could come off quite easily depending on the circumstances. But it would be good to see a closeup photo that is in focus. I really couldn't see it clearly enough before.
Normal -- it's supposed to do this. BMW has been using this technique with frameless windows for at least 20-25 years now. Many other manufacturers use the same approach. It allows them to tuck the glass up under the rain gutter for a clean look and better seal.
If you look closely at the...
If you know the VIN you can look it up on one of the BMW VIN decoders and it will tell you the build date.
Are you implying it is leaking out of the drain plug? Wonder if it wasn't torqued down properly. They normally get torqued to 45 N-M. There is an o-ring under the head of the plug.
Off...
With most auto climate control systems, the AC cycles to dehumidify the air, and it can happen at any temperature, not just during cooling season. Unless you have a reason to override AC, you may as well leave it alone. The auto climate control systems don't usually behave predictably when you...
That is a lame excuse because people here on the forum have ordered the oil and filter from their dealer or online and done their own oil changes. They are BMW parts in Toyota packaging with Toyota part numbers, and are readily available. Not sure why an actual Toyota dealer would need to wait...
