    I paid for mine 3-4 weeks ago. Don’t need insurance till I drive it off the lot. I would be more worry that they didn’t want to do the paperwork and take payment. Specially if they don’t know where the car is. Maybe they sold it to another dealer or customer.

    If you are looking in the Toyota vin lookup site it will be populated after Toyota registers you as the owner. It will show the dealer that sold it to you.
